‘Only for one day’ transmits day / night rhythms and cycles of insect metamorphosis to sounding worlds. This composition explores the visual perception of the bees, which is charatherized by two types of eyes. In addition to the compound eyes bees have Ocellen (point eyes), the relatively large lens bundles small amounts of light. The perception of light through the ocles is believed to serve the bee to capture the light intensity and allows it to react to different light intensities. This supports their internal clock and spatial orientation. This mode of perception is taken up as a metaphor and starting point and presented in a kind of concert installation.
